Chukwuemeka Osuji, heads the gas team at Olaniwun Ajayi LP. He was formerly a legal assistant with the Oil and Gas Sector Reforms Implementation (Presidential) Committee, where he was involved in the drafting of the Petroleum Industry Bill. He has also been involved in other regulatory/legislative work, including the review of Guidelines for the Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board and for the Central Bank of Nigeria etc. He has more than a decade of experience spanning corporate advisory, regulatory compliance, project development and financing, oil and gas, dispute resolution and a bit of tax advisory, amongst others.
Emeka has a deep understanding of how corporates work and how their legal and operational needs ties into their overall corporate strategy. In this regard, he brings his wide spread experience to bear in providing enhanced value-add to clients in various sectors, in the areas of developing bespoke technologically driven solutions for clients, spanning regulatory compliance, litigation risk management, etc. He has been instrumental in the development and deployment by OA Consult, of various solutions for several premium clients.
Chukwuemeka is a member of the Nigerian Gas Association, which is itself, a chartered member of the International Gas Union (IGU); and he has an MBA (In View) in Oil and Gas Management, from Robert Gordon University.
